Navigant’s Continued Investment in Promoting Diversity & Inclusion Leads to Sixth Consecutive Perfect Score on Corporate Equality Index

The 2015 CEI rated 972 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Navigant’s efforts in satisfying all of CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent rating and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.” This honor cements Navigant’s commitment to being an employer of choice for LGBT professionals.

Throughout 2014, Navigant and its professionals were at the forefront of fostering a progressive work environment, creating awareness, supporting an open exchange of ideas, encouraging an inclusive culture and understanding the needs of its colleagues and clients:
- The Firm launched a formal Military Veterans recruitment program to highlight for military personnel the many career paths available in professional services. The program was complemented by an internal Veteran’s Honor initiative to celebrate veterans who are Navigant employees or family members of Navigant employees.

The Anti-Defamation League recognizedJulie Howard , Navigant Chairman and CEO with the “Woman of Achievement” award for her stewardship of diversity and inclusion efforts. - Navigant sponsored an employee trolley and participated in Chicago’s Pride Parade to demonstrate support of the LGBT community.

During Black History Month 2014, Navigant’s
Washington D.C. office collected more than 500 new and gently used children’s books to expand theFirm-sponsored Ben Carson Reading Room library. - Additionally, Navigant offices across the globe championed local Diversity & Inclusion activities by sponsoring informational events, including webinars, movie screenings and office gatherings with a focus on cultural education and differences.
