Navigant Adds Two Senior Professionals to the Chicago Disputes &

Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announced today that Michael Kennelly and Rob Wentland have joined the Firm as Managing Directors in the Disputes & Investigations practice in Chicago. The addition of these senior leaders further strengthens Navigant's capabilities in the areas of complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, tax controversy and financial advisory services.

Kennelly has served in leadership roles throughout much of his twenty-five year career in both international accounting and specialty consulting firms. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation (especially bankruptcy, valuation and solvency-related matters); complex financial and accounting investigations, where he has served companies, boards, fiduciaries and creditors; and international tax controversies. Kennelly has provided expert valuation, damages, accounting and financial testimony before arbitration panels and in Federal and State jurisdictions, including U.S. Bankruptcy Court and U.S. Tax Court. He is also the chairman of HFS Chicago Scholars, a non-profit corporation he founded in 1992 which helps economically disadvantaged Chicago high school students who show academic and leadership promise to achieve their educational goals by providing mentoring and financial support.
Wentland is an expert accountant with over 20 years of experience working with outside counsel, in-house counsel and management committees on high-profile, complex commercial litigation, domestic and international accounting investigations, international tax controversies and regulatory rulemaking. He has a proven track record, and has received favorable commentary on his ability to simplify complex accounting damage calculations. Wentland has prepared and provided expert accounting testimony for State and Federal courts. He is currently on the Board of Directors at the Chicago Bar Foundation.
