John C. Livengood Joins Navigant’s Global Construction Practice

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 2014-- Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announced today that John Livengood has joined Navigant’s Global Construction Practice as a Managing Director in the San Francisco office. Livengood brings nearly 40 years of experience in construction design, delay analysis and litigation support, and will assist clients with cost and schedule disputes related to major construction projects.

Livengood is a registered architect and attorney with proficiencies in architectural design, construction, government contracts, claims analysis, litigation support, mediation, arbitration and international contracts. He has given expert testimony in various Federal and State courts, in proceedings before boards of contract appeals, arbitrations and mediations on scheduling, damages and causation issues. A sought-after speaker and author, he has written and lectured on issues of claims, delay, productivity and the implications of green or sustainable technology on claims.

Livengood has consulted on dozens of major construction projects, including Wilson Bridge in Washington, DC, The Bronx Court House, the Big Dig in Boston, Hong Kong'sChek Lap Kok Airport and the Chunnel Project. He is active in both the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry and is the Vice-President, Finance for Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International.
